Damon finally closed his book. “Oh, that’s rich. You cleaning up my messes. Tell me, who cleaned up the mess when you left Katherine’s picture sitting on your desk, just waiting to be discovered by your girlfriend?” He shook his finger at Stefan. “Sloppy, kid. Sloppy. You’ve got to be more careful.”

“Don’t turn this around on me. I’m talking about you hurting people.”

“Well so am I. Your precious poopsie got into a car accident after speeding away from the scene of your little love crime. She was emotional, Stefan. Vulnerable,” he said, not able to resist digging at Stefan.
